Design and architectural supervision

Our design and supervision services are provided for all waste management installations at every stage of their preparation.

During the design process, we take into account aspects related to the future management and operation of the assets in order to reduce user risks. To this end, we use appropriate hazard identification and risk assessment tools.

Our designers seek innovative and effective solutions in response to the business needs of manufacturers, maintenance contractors, infrastructure owners and users. From providing individualized expert support to the implementation of complete projects.

Our design teams use practical experience gained in the provision of complementary services and during supervision activities, where they participate in the optimization of design solutions at the execution stage.

We use BIM modelling as part of our design services.

The use of BIM in BBF projects includes:

  • 5D modelling: We use advanced 3D models that allow for accurate reproduction of building structures and their components, which facilitates the identification of potential problems already at the design stage. As part of the next D (4D), we introduce information on investment costs, both at the stage of cost estimation and after completion, which enables the preparation of investment cost estimates, provides information for the future valuation of fixed assets and facilitates the issuance of acceptance reports. As part of the fifth D (5D), individual works are assigned a time parameter, which allows for the analysis of the work schedule, facilitating the management and coordination of the sequence of works.
  • Coordination of different work types: thanks to BIM, different work types can be coordinated in a single design environment, minimizing the risk of conflicts and errors. This also allows for faster and more accurate changes to the design.
  • Data management: BIM methodology allows for continuous updating of design data, which is crucial for effective cost and schedule management.
  • Asset management and operation support: a properly prepared BIM model is a source of asset data that can be used in EAM and CMMS systems.

BBF's offer in this area includes the development of:

  • Technical and economic concepts
  • Functional and utility programs
  • Investment cost estimates
  • Design documentation/ Building permits
  • Detailed design and as-built documentation
  • Architectural supervision.
